The 2019 R1 carried over the MotoGP-inspired crossplane four with titanium rods, magnesium wheels and an aluminium Deltabox frame, with a six-axis IMU driving traction, slide, wheelie and launch control. It uses conventional fully adjustable KYB suspension, leaving the Ohlins electronics to the R1M.
